As a result of a shoulder injury, sue stopped exercising and ended up gaining a considerable amount of weight. After being discharged from physical therapy for her adhesive capsulitis Sue wanted to lose the weight she had gained and get back to her previous self.  However, her shoulder was still weak with poor range of motion and she had a demanding full time job that took up the majority of her day.  Sue began working with a trainer for early morning, in-home personal training sessions three times a week.  Because Sue’s shoulder still needed to be strengthened and stretched, there were time constraints to consider in her program design.  Sue wanted to lose weight but at the same time and more importantly, she needed to continue her rehabilitative program to strengthen and above all stretch the shoulder capsule so that she could perform her daily activities without pain.
