Raquel F.: Playing competitive tennis weeks after being discharged from therapy!


Raquel was referred to iDEAL Personal Training after completing her physical therapy with Pro Motion Physical Therapy in McLean (www.pro-motionpt.com). Although the tendonitis in her shoulder had subsided she still needed to be on a program to keep her shoulder strong and injury free.  Raquel was also an avid tennis player and desperately wanted to get back on the court but in better shape than she previously was in prior to injury. Raquel began working with Jeff during the week and Laura on the weekends (she is very dedicated). Her program consisted of both therapeutic exercises to maintain shoulder stability and exercises specifically designed to mimic her actions on the tennis court.  Within two weeks Raquel was back on the tennis court hitting with her club pro and within one month was playing competitive matches twice a week with her tennis team.
